Good thread Lenny...  ;)

My Top 10:

1. Monsters Inc.
2. Toy Story 3*
3. The Incredibles
4. Cars
5. Ratatouille
6. Up
7. Finding Nemo
8. Inside Out
9. Coco
10. Soul

Movies like Wall-E, a Bug's Life etc are also very good, but don't make my Top 10.

*PS: I am not afraid to admit it... The ending of Toy Story 4 made me cry like a kid (the scene where Buzz and Woody share the line "to infinity.... and beyond..."...)...

A Few Good Men--Just a terrific movie. Anything with Jack Nickolson in it is always a great watch and he sure didn't disappoint here.

Grumpy Old Men--Two of my all-time favorite movie characters, Matthau and Lemmon. Most people love them in The Odd couple, but my favorite was The Fortune Cookie

Matthau and Lemmon together are one of a kind. The humor that Matthau had - along with his body language and way of saying it - were something else.

And another big-time softball

Captain, you told me...

The Captain: Never mind what I told you. *I'm telling you!*

Mister Roberts - With Jack Lemmon. Love him...

2 Softballs:

1. Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You?

2. When I had my ulcers, I was farting razor blades.

Exactly that.

Markets are totally out of sync because what was supposed to be a free market is in fact a closed market for the few only.

I have no problem with those who short sell.

But how is it possible that a company's stock can be oversold or overshorted by 140%?

This is where the system fails.

You are suffering the harm I was talking about that was created by a bunch of Redditors conspiring to manipulate stock prices

As for big firms, they are allowed to make projections on stocks, but they are not allowed to profit on those projections

Plus: The Volcker Rule clearly forbids Principal Trading for Proprietary Purposes.

So when a big firm downgrades a stock and makes it go down and makes money on that dip which might create a panic sell and make them more money.  How

Again, correct.

Out of all the Batman movies, to me anyway, this one was the best. Gimmicky--for sure, but I just LOVED Nickolson as The Joker. The movie just came alive whenever he was on screen. The movie was done tongue in cheek.

I also loved Heath Ledger as the Joker in The Dark Knight, but he was sinister and was just perfect in that role, while Nicholson was playing it for laughs.

Ledger was absolutely phenomenal in The Dark Knight. This is an epic movie.

Unfortunately this role cost him his life, I guess.

Yes, Schwab purchased it last year

Not sure they were involved in the shorts too, though.

Apart from TD, WeBull have also restricted the opening of new positions.

The explanation across the board appears to be the Clearing House asking for that restriction to be applied - simply because the margins to be posted on such volatile issuers are extremely high (e.g. the more volatile, the more the margins cost).
Obviously this leads to expensive Margin Calls, such as the one of 1bn USD to Robinhood, which is massive.

But obviously the constellation of Robinhood vs Citadel being a major shareholder of Robinhood vs Citadel's Hedge Funds being short GME is one that looks really, really bad. That's the worst part of it all I think.

If we get into the Robinhood investment platform and it's the relationship with hedge funds we go down a rabbit hole full of questionable ethics and practices.  Perhaps the most troubling is that Robinhood's relationship with a hedgefund allows that hedgefund to know all the sell and buy requests of those traders before they are executed

Does Frontrunning ring a bell?  /sarcasm/

Robinhood has articulated their restrictions with the fact that they were asked to post 1bln USD in Margins as Security to the Clearing Houses.
Well, go ask Citadel for that then...

@ JBG - Isn't TD Ameritrade owned by Charles Schwab?
