Another third down check down and an awful throw on top of it.  But yeah not Jones's fault

At least Jones is a running QB and can make a play like that.

That wasn't a missed catch that was a good play by the defender.  Probably the only time he didn't check down today and actually go down field.

Kaftka needs better play calling

Stop with this blaming the play calling.  It's easy to have that completion percentage when you're always dumping the ball off and checking down to your receivers for easy completions rather than going downfield.

The offense needs to score.  Miami has too much talent to expect the defense to completely shut them down.

He's not some rookie QB.  He's a 5th year QB who was just handed a big contract.  He should be able to read a defense pre snap and adjust accordingly which he never does.  He has weapons in the passing game he just isn't utilizing them by going downfield frequently.  Hitting them with underneath routes does nothing.  You continually giving him a pass for everything believing he's great is what you want to roll with no matter what.

It was a great play by the defender.  Not much either the QB or receiver can do there.  But again I give Jones credit for taking the shot.
