1.  "Certain death!  Small chance of success!  What are we waiting for?" The Lord of the Rings - Return of the King

2.  "Captain, I just threw your goddam potted plant overboard!  And, what's this crud about no movie tonight?"

I'll throw a couple out there. I am not a movie aficionado of movies before 1970 so bear with me:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Aren't you gonna do something?"
"What are you talkin' to me for? She's the one with the gun."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas....well, except Herpes, that shlt will follow you home"
The Hangover

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"we got to get rid of this broad...I know a great place up the road...lots of alligators"
"We're not getting rid of the broad"
"What's your angle?"
"No angle, I like her"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What did you bring her here for?"
"One, I had no choice...two, I might have suffered a slight concussion and three, she's mentally imbalanced to a spectacular degree!"
Bandits

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"If you want justice, go to a whorehouse. If you want to get fu*#^ked, go to court"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You don't want me! I'm filled with Scotch, bitterness and impure thoughts"

If that's a softball, then you & I play way different games.

Obviously very subjective to the movies you like to see. That one's from the 80s - 1987 to be exact. Another line, from the same movie, from the same actor:

"I know one thing, Major. I drew down and fired straight at it. Capped off two hundred rounds in the minigun, full pack. Nothing... nothing on this earth could have lived. Not at that range."

If I give you the last quote of the movie you're going to get it, so I'll hold the horses on it... ;)

Softball:

"Long Tall Sally, she built sweet, she got everything, that Uncle John need. Aw baby, I'm gonna have me some fun, I'm gonna have me some fun, I'm gonna have me some fun."

"Leave us".
"No, stay here, I'm in charge".
"Do you feel in charge?"
"I paid you a small fortune..."...
"And this gives you power, over me?"

******

"We've already agreed that having information about the future is dangerous. Even if your intentions are good, it could backfire drastically. Whatever you have to tell me, I will find out through the natural course of time".

******

"How we doin'?"
"Well, so far we covered Lake, McHenry and part of DuPage County..."...
"Good, let's get to the gig!"

******

"There's one question you haven't asked me yet... 'WHY'?"
"Well, I figured you would tell me when you were ready..."...

******

"Thanks be to God, for sending someone to protect this church".
"I don't believe he sent me, Father".
"Oh, my son, of course he did".

******

"You have a great name. He must kill your name first before he kills you".

"Oh, xxxx."
"What? *What*?"
"I left Holly hanging on hold."
"Ah, call her back."
"Uhh, she's gonna be pissed."
"She'll get over it."
"I don't know, Zeus. Like I said, she's a very stubborn woman."
"She'd have to be to stay married to you."

*****

"He's still alive..."...
"What?"
"Only John can drive someone that crazy".

Have you glanced at any of the last bunch I put up. Some are a bit tricky, but all from very popular movies.

I have Lenny, but I don't know a single one of them...  ~X(

Don't blame me, my granddaughter told me that Queen Elsa was hosting some sort of competition and she announced, "Let the Games begin". I have only seen the movie twice so I only go by what she told me. I called her and she still says it was said in the movie. Now she says it was also said in 'Brave', so I don't know. Personally, I liked Brave a lot more than Frozen, but I'll be darn if I remember lines from them.

If it isn't from the movie I mentioned before, I have no idea.

I did not want to blame anyone, especially not your granddaughter.  ;)
As for Frozen I've gotten sick of it to be honest and I agree Brave was the much more fun movie, but probably that's just the setting and the story of the movie which fits us guys better.

I think your granddaughter may be right about the quote being used in Brave though... When they start the bow and arrow tournament it needs to have been said somewhere there. :)
