I was just reading up on two of those, so I'm waiting to discuss your views.

In the meantime, do you like Westerns and, if so, which are your favorites?

We do not have HBO, does it make sense to partake in this?

I struggled today also. Only had 3 yellows in my first 3 words. I got it in 5 but, as Ric said, I was more than surprised when I entered a word just to try and get letters in the right place and they all flipped green.

You are correct Ric, almost all of the "Living Dead' movies were originally what one might refer to as 'B' movies. although they don't have that distinction today.

In the glory days of Hollywood, when the movie theaters showed double features, the main movie was the 'A' movie. Since they needed another movie to fill out the bill, so entered the lesser movies, usually at minimal cost with stars that just weren't stars yet, 'B' movies.

From the '40s and '50s, there were just tons of them. but most aren't that well known. Maybe the best known was 'The Blob', 'Them'
and 'It Came From Outer Space'. Most of these ended up being 'drive-in' fare and sort of made specifically for drive-ins as most people weren't paying attention anyway.

Some of the more 'recent' 'B' type movies that really hit it big
The Texas Chainsaw massacre
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Re-Animator (if you've never seen this one, you are missing something extra weird)
The original Friday the 13th movies
the original Nightmare on Elm Street Movies, and add to this all the other 'creature' and 'slasher' movies
One of the best 'B' movies that really made a guy a star was Fists of Fury with the then-unknown Bruce Lee. He started a phenomenon with all those 'B' Kung Fu movies
You could also add 'Godzilla' to this a 'B' movie that started a trend with hundreds of these Japanese monster movies.
On thinking, you can also add all the Hammer films with the dynamic duo of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee who made playing Dracula an art form.

So, if I had to name maybe my favorite, it probably would be Fists of Fury followed by The Rocky Horrow Picture Show

For me, it's easy--Beer  I just never acquired a taste for it, sorry guys

After that it would be soda, as I never drink anything carbonated, it just gives me gas.

My main drink, and it has been this way for as long as I can remember, is ice tea. I usually brew my own, but when I umpired a lot in the summer, I drank so much of it, I used the powder and watered it down a lot.

At what point was BCS taking place simultaneously with BB and will it at some point take place post BB?

We don't know?

Jimmy/Saul hasn't officially opened his 'main' office yet, but most of the other ingredients are there for Walt and Jesse to be starting their partnership. As I said, it has been announced that Walt and Jesse will appear in one of the final episodes of BCS so hopefully, the fime line will all fall into place.

And Jimmy/Saul Cinnabun adventure has to be post BB.

15 Movie threads. Maybe we need a separate room along with a Daniel Jones room.

You'd rather politics?

What would YOU like to discuss?

It's just a thought I had although, I agree, less likely. As I also mentioned Mike will probably kill Lalo, thus solidifying his loyalty to Gus. I believe this to be a much more likely scenario.

I can live with that.  :ok: :ok: :ok:

I think we might have done this before, but since I'm old I don't remember, so let's try a new list

https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/the-25-greatest-westerns-of-all-time/ss-AAUtJr5?li=BBnb2gh&ocid=mailsignout#image=26

Most of the good ones are there, but some stinkers (for me anyway) are also there. I hated The Power of the Dog, and I would never put The Hateful 8 in with the greatest of all time.

Like any list, it is so subjective but personally, I think I would rate 'The Unforgiven' as one of the best ever, if not THE best ever.

Some that I would put on MY list that weren't listed

High Noon-- This should be in the top 5 of any list of greatest westerns
Tombstone--another bad omission
3:10 To Yuma ( The original)
The Magnificent 7 (original)
The Gunfighter

And, since many people consider this a western (which I really don't) The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

I've been fully into these shows for some time as well. My theory is that Kim is the first one to use the vacuum service to disappear to Nebraska, which is why Saul wants to end up there. I think they use the settlement money from sandpiper to make it happen. Kim is from Nebraska, after all, and there are simply zero coincidences in the Gilligan universe.

Anything is possible, I just don't see that. I would think Saul would 'RUN' to join her if she did 'disappear' instead of hanging around for whatever time frame Breaking Bad put us thru. If Kim was in Nebraska because of Lalo, why would Jimmy still be here, operating out in the open?

Everyone just assumes Kim is gone, what happens if she is still there, just not mentioned in BB? Hey, as I said, anything is possible on TV.

Just a question for watchers, why are Jimmy and Kim so afraid of Lalo? I know Lalo is the 'BAD' guy and he is evil thru and thru, but Jimmy helped him so why would Lalo have a sort of 'axe' to grind with them. What am I missing here that I must have forgotten?

I was watching a movie last night with Burt Lancaster and started to think how many truly GREAT movies he has made--deserving of a list of characters and finding the name of the movie, so here goes

1-- (an EASY one)  Elmer Gantry--Elmer Gantry

2--Ole 'Swede' Anderson--The Killers

3--Massai--Apache

4--Sgt. Milton Warden--- Really thought someone would get this--From Here To Eternity

5--Joe Collins--Brute Force

6--Bill Starbuck--The Rainmaker

7--Dr. Ernst Janning--Judgement At Nuremberg

8--Robert Franklin Stroud--Birdman of Alcatrazaz

9--Gen. James Mattoon Scott--Seven Days In May

10--Col. Thaddeus Gearhart (one of my all time fav comedies)--The Hallelujah Trail

11--Dolworth--The Professionals

12--Dr. 'Moonlight' Graham--Field of Dreams

13--Harry Doyle--Tough Guys

14--McIntosh--Ulzana;s Raid

15--Marshal Jared Maddox--Lawman

16--Ned Merrill--The Swimmer

17--Paul Labiche--The Train

18--J.J. Hunsecker--Sweet Smell of Success

19--Elias Wakefield (Big Eli)--The Kentuckian

20--And I'll end with another EASY one--Jim Thorpe--All Amaerican

Len,
Just finished the episode this evening. I think your question can be explained by Lalo's call to Hector - Lalo noticed that Hector's phone was tapped; he deduced that Gus likely did it; so he falsely told Hector, (for Mike's ears), that he was going to kill Gus that night; so Mike pulled his various security details (assuming Saul's home as well) to concentrate on Gus's location; which freed Lalo to walk the streets of ABQ. Remember the quick shot of the cockroach? At that instant it made him think of Saul Goodman.

Other random thoughts...

I am starting to think Lalo survives past the BB timeline, and that is why Gene is scared to death of being recognized in Nebraska. He knows Lalo is still out there. Granted, Saul would have been more cautious throughout his time in the BB series, so not sure how that could be explained, but it's just a thought.

Lalo pulled the trigger but Howard's blood is on Saul and Kim. They're responsible for Howard being there.

The fear factor in this episode's final moments matches any scary movie you care to name.
- The door opening.
- The candle flame whipping.
- The look on Jimmy's face.
- And all of the raw horror, confusion and despair that's contained in the only word Jimmy can get out:

I thought I had it in 3 with Total, but alas, it wasn't to be. Ended up getting it in 5.
