"What just happened?"    "He mobilized the English language and sent it into battle."

Darkest Hour

But this quote was spoken by Edward R Murrow.

THe only way I would talk Yankees is when they lose another playoff game and make me extremely happy.

I think I hate them more than I do Dallas.

(Remember, I was born and bred a Brooklyn Dodger fan, and ANY Brooklyn Dodger fan that said, well they left so they became a Yankee fan was NEVER a really true Dodger fan. It was ingrained in you to HATE the Yankees and I have never given up on that.)

Sorry Jim, I'm just not familiar enough with Gary Cooper's resume to be of much help on this one.
But I have a new list to work on with a variety of films:

1 - Cletus Snow--Smokey and the Bandit

2- Buster Moon

3 - Alicia Huberman--Notorious

4 - Scotty Smalls--THe Sandlot

5 - Hubert Hawkins--The Court Jester

6 - Biff Tannen--Back to the Future

7 - Reggie Dunlop--Slap Shot ( a GREAT character) (And those Hansons )

8 - Chester Kent

9 - Otis B. Driftwood--Night At The Opera

10 - Christian Wolff

11 - Louis "Mountain" Riveria--Requiem For A Heavyweight

Sorry if I am late to this but I was away for a week or so.

Nice List

Is anyone else watching?

I thought the last episode was great. They are really on Howard's case.

The show before this where Nacho said goodbye was OK? I felt they were focusing too much on the Cartel and not enough on JImmy/Saul and Kim which the show is supposed to be about. Almost that entire episode was about the cartel and Nacho.

Some of the opening scenes have been great cinema-wise, but very confusing otherwise.

I thought you would have a good day Lenn. I had the first and third letters in the right place on my first try and got it right on my second. A lot of luck.

Bill

Funny Bill. I usually put in my 3 words no matter what, so mostly I get it on the 4th line or 5th line. I rarely can do it in 3, except like today when I had all the letters before entering my last regular word.

Even if I have several letters on my first try, I always enter the second word so I will never get it in 2 unless like the other day when I had 4 letters from my 1st word.

Just another very easy one today. I had all the letters with my first two words and just had to arrange them.

You know I had that same exact thought and was going to highlight it so it would stand out above the rest.

You did it instead.  =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I haven't gotten the chance to watch this yet and since I am cruising in a few days, I won't get to watch for a couple of weeks. Then I will binge watch and join the conversation.

Enjoy the show.

The Front Porch / Movie trivia
May 02, 2022, 11:31:15 AM

I just came across this site that gives some known or unknown trivia from several well-known movies.

Some I already knew, others not so, but always interesting.

Any others out there?
