Gordon, you're obviously a heck of a lot younger than I & our movie tastes differ widely.

I actually just turned 40 on July 11th this year. How young or old we are is always a question of perspective.
Cause I feel old.

To be honest I do watch older movies as well... To give you an example I love the old Sergio Leone Western.
I also appreciate the Walter Matthau & Jack Lemmon comedies very much.

I also liked this movie a lot. Never got the praise when it first came out, but developed into a sort of cult following until more people saw how good it really was.

Funny but I never saw the remake. Anyone--was that any good?

I have seen it. Switched the TV off after the first half was over.

Not nearly as good as the one from 1982.

For whatever reason, Will Smith is just not favorite actor. he was OK in Independence Day but after that, or even before that, I wouldn't go out of my way to see any of his movies. Wasn't he in Hancock, I hated that movie. Sorry to anyone who liked it.

His role in the movie puts him in a tough spot, making him look like an a-hole.
But who I did like in that movie was Charlize Theron. She was smoking hot.  :D ;)

So the movie the quote was from was "I, Robot". It's not a bad one actually. Worthwhile watching, but again, movie tastes are subjective.

"Don't you want a woman of your own?"
"What for?"
"To share your name, bear your children, be a companion."
"To ask me to quit drinking, quit gambling and save money? And to bitch about her aches and pains all day? No thanks!"

"Everything that follows, is a result of what you see here." - "What do I see here?" - "I'm sorry, my responses are limited. You must ask the right question."

I will give you a pointer: Will Smith. 2004.

"Wake up, you piece of xxxx! Who's Venice?"
"Who?"
"Huh?"
"Who? Who?"
"Who? What are you, a fucking owl? Who is she? Some little hooker you were fucking last night?"

That's one of the best dialogues in the movie actually...

I tried on the other ones. Sorry

As for this one, I really don't have a clue.

Just a note, to take a line from maybe a sort ofg obscure movie and expect me, or others to know it, that is tough. As we say, we don't watch every movie, but certain, maybe more popular movies, we can figure out just from a line or two here and there.
Really, some of these movies, I never even heard of, and I do try and keep up to date with the film world. Sure, as I said before, we all have the type of movie genres that we like and don't like, but I usually recognize titles. I guess I must have missed a few along the way.

Apologies Lenny.

Obviously, the movie taste is very subjective. So is the taste of the movies themselves. I myself love the Marvel and DC Universe movies and I find them to be quite fun.

The movie quote above I had from "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".

I knew the first two. I have a feeling that they are all from this genre of movies, Super Heros et al. Again, not my favorite genre. I have seen the basics, like Superman and Batman and Spiderman, but after that, I usually pass. I said this a while back, I think I was the only one who didn't like the entire Ironman series. Oh well, to each his own. Maybe some one else can chime in on the others.

Actually, the second one's wrong. It involves Iron Man but it's not an Iron Man Movie.

All I can tell you it's that it is from the Marvel Universe. All of them.

Looks like I got you there. :)
