Gordon, you're obviously a heck of a lot younger than I & our movie tastes differ widely.

I also liked this movie a lot. Never got the praise when it first came out, but developed into a sort of cult following until more people saw how good it really was.
Funny but I never saw the remake. Anyone--was that any good?

For whatever reason, Will Smith is just not favorite actor. he was OK in Independence Day but after that, or even before that, I wouldn't go out of my way to see any of his movies. Wasn't he in Hancock, I hated that movie. Sorry to anyone who liked it.

I tried on the other ones. Sorry
As for this one, I really don't have a clue.
Just a note, to take a line from maybe a sort ofg obscure movie and expect me, or others to know it, that is tough. As we say, we don't watch every movie, but certain, maybe more popular movies, we can figure out just from a line or two here and there.
Really, some of these movies, I never even heard of, and I do try and keep up to date with the film world. Sure, as I said before, we all have the type of movie genres that we like and don't like, but I usually recognize titles. I guess I must have missed a few along the way.

I knew the first two. I have a feeling that they are all from this genre of movies, Super Heros et al. Again, not my favorite genre. I have seen the basics, like Superman and Batman and Spiderman, but after that, I usually pass. I said this a while back, I think I was the only one who didn't like the entire Ironman series. Oh well, to each his own. Maybe some one else can chime in on the others.
