I read a few feeds that Daboll wants  to quit in January.

Any other murmurs about this?

I don't want him to leave.

Unfortunately this is nothing more than a reflection of our society today lead by so many people whose sole mission in life is to be seen and heard FIRST....so that they can be an influencer.

Daniel Jones #1 - I was willing to open my mind to last season and the subsequent contract extension, that the FO & Daboll were seeing more than I did heading into this year.

**I will honorably mention John Mara as I have to believe Schoen & Daboll have better "football eyes" than I do, so my assumption is there was some added pressure there**

My #2 is Schoen for two reasons:
1) is DJ, assuming, the above mentioned, as a GM you need to have the courage of your convictions.

2) his inability to properly address the OL, especially both OG. Pugh is a nice story, but he's not by any means the answer heading into next season not to mention long term. Let's not forget his injury history.

So in summary: DJ & Schoen are my biggest disappointments this season.

If the GIANTS run the table, this is great news for the development and maturity of many of the younger players and will do wonders for the culture moving into 2024.

If Tommy the D has a major impact on the run, it gives him a strong shot to make the 2024 roster competing for #2 QB.

Dallas and 2nd is not close for me.

I had a healthy jealousy for the Landry/Schram Cowboys so there was also a level of respect....but the Jerrah/JJ/Switzer et-al was sleezy from day 1 and they just dug deep under my skin and I have not mellowed on them since.

I dislike Eagle fans more than the franchise itself.

With the Cowboys you can include everyone from the FO/coaches/players/medical staff/trainers/ball boys/cheerleaders/towel boys/beat reporters/broadcasters/fans...their relatives....did I miss anyone?!

I don't think it's a fluke, but the level of "success" is a bit exaggerated.

This is a fun story featuring a good kid.

Best case scenario for him is he'll compete for a roster spot at #2 next season.

The Giants are still in need of a long term starter.

This is supposed to be a progression of the offense lead by good consistent reads by the QB & receivers.

If they can minimize the OL substitution due to injuries moving forward, I believe we will see more positive Paisan progression moving forward.

A) finish 5-12 with a top 5 pick
B) finish 7-10 with a top 15 pick but a significantly improved OL
C) finish 8-9, sneak into the playoffs with the OL and our Paisan showing real promise

Agreed, that's when you need a strong leader/HC to sell the fact that this is what's best for the team....leaving no doubt.
