Broken or dislocated toe, torn tendon, whatever, it doesn't matter I'm sure it's painful. Why should he have to walk back in to get it x-rayed when there's a cart for that very reason.

The Front Porch / Re: What are we watching these days?

Speaking of Netflix they recently announced yet another rate hike will be coming soon which will take the standard package from $15.49 up to between $17-$18 per month. At that point I'll seriously consider dropping it as I am just not watching it enough to justify the price.

But...last night I watched the series finale of the Netflix original, "Sex Education." The four season series far exceeded my expectations, and although it probably ended at the right point - wrapping all the storylines up neatly - I will miss it.

As it turned out I wonder if they'd have been better off going 12 personnel with an O-Lineman, at least occasionally.

So why announce it so soon?

My cell phone accidentally took 10 minutes of video of my shoes.

It was some pretty good footage.

One thing in the NYG's favor is this game will be played at home, whereas last year it was out in Seattle, traditionally a difficult stadium for visitors to play in.

I hope it's a win as I really hate the Seahawks.

That would make infinitely more sense to me.  =))

Quote from: Ed Vette on September 23, 2023, 11:46:56 AMIs he a better run blocker than Glowinski? IDK, we haven't see Lemieux since 2021 and he wasn't good then.
What other possible reason could there have been since he's proven to be the human turnstile in pass-pro.

I assume they started Lemieux to help establish the run. But when they abandoned the run I fully expected to see a change made. It never was which perplexed me.

Good job Len.

A dear friend of mine is currently in the hospital with Covid. He just spent close to a week on a ventilator, but was just removed from it a couple days ago. He's still weak but slowly improving. Because he has underlying health issues he and his wife have gotten all their boosters and have been very careful when in public. They always mask and stay away from crowded situations, and up until now had avoided Covid, (his wife is still negative). Covid with all it's various strains does seem to be weakening as more and more of humanity have built up antibodies through contracting the virus, and/or vaccinations, which makes it less dangerous to the general public. However there is still a percentage of the population that if they do catch Covid it can still be very serious, even deadly. We should not forget about them even as it becomes less an issue to the rest of us.
