Quote from: DaveBrown74 on December 12, 2023, 10:56:41 AMObviously you know a lot more about the team than I do, but I'd be very surprised if that happened. The Bucs aren't good and you guys will probably have Watson and Jones back, right?

From a Packers fan's perspective, last night was an annoying loss as they made a lot of unnecessary mistakes, but they're still right in the running as a dark horse 6 or 7 seed type team and next week is a soft opponent. They'll bounce back.

The Bucs are 6-7 as well. They have a decent offense. We aren't beating them.

Quote from: kartanoman on December 12, 2023, 08:04:04 AMUntil the trails cross again in the future, be well and your boys will bounce back. The Pack has some exciting stars on offense who will one day contend for best in league.

Be well!

Peace!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bucs beat us next week.

Quote from: T200 on December 12, 2023, 07:29:38 AMThanks for being a stand-up guy. Love had an off night but you guys definitely have a good one at QB.  :ok:
He's ok. He isn't great. We're not making the playoffs.

I wanted to show my face after and say Congratulations on the win!

It's going to be close. I'd say 24-20 my Pack but it could go your way too.

Quote from: BluesCruz on December 08, 2023, 11:44:22 AMI hope they didnt ban you

We are finally a real NFL team, and am I proud of that- Yes

We are very mirrored teams- good pass rush, good secondary, neither can stop the run very well

good receivers, nice 1st year QBs on win streaks

Its going to come down to which team wants it more

As for us being a trap game, thats weird- when did 6-6 teams develop trap games LOL?

Beat the Giants and you will have a winning record, maybe at 9-6 if you get there you can start calling other teams "Traps".  Right now you are an average team on the rise just like the Giants

Dont get ahead of yourselves.  If you win Monday you can tell your friends your team once beat the great Tommy DeVito. ....if you dont he will give you that Italian hand gesture.

It will be a tough game. There's also a chance of a letdown after the win over KC.

Quote from: T200 on December 08, 2023, 11:09:56 AMHe caught me in a giving mood today.  :P

I'm not disrespecting a team that has beaten us in the playoffs in our own home. I wouldn't disrespect a opposing team regardless.

Happy Holidays
Thank god if you did. This guy did this at the KC boards, Saints boards, Broncos boards and Steeler boards. Talking like that to opposing fans is uncalled for.

Quote from: BluesCruz on December 08, 2023, 07:16:18 AMIm enjoying this conversation already.  You sound a bit rattled.  Giants are due to drop a ton of points on someone.  We have suddenly become the king of opponent turnovers.  Our Offense is solid, QB solid, WRs solid, especially Hyatt, protection suddenly very good, Saquon reborn

Dont let our dustup with Belichick fool you.  He is tough to score on

All systems go

Dont worry, after losing to the Giants, your team will re-group.  27-22 on World Stage with Rogers.  That had to sting.  Revenge game?  Gotta figure out how to rattle TommyD but he has ice water in his veins

Giants Packers always a fun matchup whatever the seasons records

PackersNation where you dialing in from....I'm in Germany.  Have to set the alarm for 2AM to watch the game.
Oh dont worry about the harrasment laws- I'm 76.   Well dont harass the elderly LOL. I hope to see you tuesday morning on here

That loss last year did sting. We had a big lead in that game and we seemed to spiral downhill after starting 3-1.

This is a trap game for us. Obviously I hope we win but I thought we would beat you guys last year and we didn't. We need to be ready to play.

Quote from: Bob In PA on December 05, 2023, 01:01:26 PMIMO, the Pack is an up-and-coming team but I'm not it will begin this year.

They need to climb over Minny for any playoff possibility, and no one will catch the Lions now.

I think it will be close.  The Pack had a tough game last week and the Giants had a week off.

Bob

PS. Giants haven't played well after the bye in recent years. IMO lousy teams take a while to get back in gear.

I hope it's a great game with no bad officiating or injuries.

Quote from: kartanoman on December 05, 2023, 12:54:45 PMWhen two "old school" NFL teams meet up with the history the Packers and Giants have, it adds a mystique to the matchup. The Packers, born in 1919, and the Giants in 1925, have a unique history as old as the NFL itself and share common ground with having had one of the legendary coaches of all time on their respective sidelines at points in the middle 20th century: Vincent Thomas Lombardi. The man known as one of the Seven Blocks of Granite from Fordham, Offensive Coordinator of the World Champion 1956 New York Football Giants and runner up 1958 Giants, the five-time championship head coach of the Green Bay Packers and, in his final act, as his body withered away due to terminal cancer, led the Washington Redskins to their first winning record in 14 years before succumbing to it. His impact to the game, and inspirational messages to his players, were so monumental that the NFL decided its championship trophy bear his name.

Lombardi's "A Football Life" documentary starts with his daughter Susan recalling the day her dad came home and declared they were all moving to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Susan recalled, "Green Bay, Wisconsin, where's that? It's not even on the map!" To which her dad proclaimed, "When I am done, IT will BE on the MAP!" Still gives me goosebumps as I type this.

Even though the Giants had a memorable comeback win over the Packers across the pond last year, I think back to the last time these two teams played in that blizzard in the Sardine Can and it just seemed the perfect picture postcard: two old school teams battling in the wintry elements with the ghosts of the past watching from overhead.

Welcome @Arodgers12  and all Packer backers.  for an entertaining contest and one more for the old history books.

Peace!

We have nothing but love for you guys.

Quote from: BluesCruz on December 05, 2023, 12:46:07 PMPackers losses came mostly early in the schedule.   Lately they have been on a tear.
I admittedly don't know much about them.  Plus we dont do well in national games.

This will be a real test.

It will be a tough game for us too. You guys beat us last year in London.
