I think you would count this as a sit-com, but "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is an all-timer for me. And oddly enough, I was never as big on Seinfeld as everyone else was, even though it was created by the same person as Curb.

We LOVED this show until they canceled it and then brought it back. Larry David was one funny guy and just a marvelous supporting cast.

I also read most of King's early works. I think I stopped after The Stand, but the ones I read I loved.

Funny story, when I was reading The Shining, I didn't want to disturb my wife. We were just married for a few years and I used to sneak off and read in the bathroom at night. It was late and silly me, was reading in the tub (no water) and I got to the part when the boy finally got the courage to open the door to the room that was giving him all that trouble. Just when he opened the door, the people above me dropped something on the floor and scared the hell out of me. I literally jumped 2 feet in the air, came down, and hurt my back. Talk about suspense. When I told my wife, she is still laughing about it.

We just got back from our annual week on Cape Cod. We love the winter there and the walks on the beach, sunsets, and just no crowds. This year was different as we couldn't go out to eat and many stores that are usually open just weren't. But we persevered and had a good time. Took quite a few pixs and will put up a few when I can go thru them to see what is what.

In the meantime, here are some pics from other vacations.

Hope you enjoy

Reading Bob's list brought a big smile to my face. I really don't read as much now but when I did, I read all the classics and Sherlock Holmes was my absolute favorite. I read the anthology many, many times.
I also read all the Ian Fleming--James Bond books. Add to that I simply loved James Mitchener, Ludlow, Phillip Roth and everyone's all time favorite Salinger.

Since you mentioned sitcoms, nd older ones, I still watch All In The Family, whenever I can. Dated, maybe, but, almost like the Honeymooners, you know the lines that are coming and it is still hilarious.
Still love Cheers, MASH, even Friends has gotten better the more I watch it. and we never tire of Frazier reruns.
As for newer shows, Schitt's Creek is absolutely one of the best comedies on NETFLIX. The more you watch it, the funnier it gets.

Is there any hope for this series? With Maggie back, but really what does she bring. I still say they should have ended it 2 years ago. I'll watch and probably wonder why come Monday morning.

Sorry I wasn't paying too much attention when I recognized the line from The Departed.

OK yes sir, #5 easy softball--Finding Nemo

I was stumped on the first two and never would get them so, sorry, I tried Google.

#1- I have seen the movie and I liked it a lot, but never would have recognized the quote, and the second one, sorry, I never even heard of the movie.

If you want me to give the answers or wait and see if anyone else wants to play?

I watched a movie this week called "Identity".
It's a film from 2003 that is a combination of mystery, crime drama & physcological thriller that is well acted with a good cast.
There is some blood, but it's not what I would call "gory" and keeps you guessing until the end.
If this sounds interesting to you I would highly recommend it.
Here is the trailer for it:

Seen it, liked it. Thought John Cuzack's performance was a bit over the top, but he is usually always good.
