Jones is f-ed, hardly surprising.
We've properly David Carr-ed him.

Both coordinators must be on the hot seat.
I knew there'd be a drop off this season, tougher schedule, teams getting wise to us, but I was just looking for broad improvement......play-offs,  overall record were not that relevant.
But I did not expect the arse to completely and utterly fall out of things the way they have.
I really don't know where we go from here.
We look like a team picking top five, so a QB has to be in play.
But the coaching staff?

We've looked a poorly prepared and poorly coached team, but our roster looks way, way off in terms of talent.
There's plenty blame to go round but how do we fix it?
Same old fire everyone?

I think everyone is shell shocked.
I'm more baffled than angry.
At the start of this season, speaking personally,  I knew we were still in rebuild but I was encouraged by the progress of last season.
I predicted we'd be 2-4 six games in but I was looking for ongoing improvement.
I didn't see this fall off coming and I'm scratching my head as to what has happened.

We've looked shockingly ill-prepared for both the season and the various individual games.
There are issues beyond Jones, but Jones is now a major issue also.

I think, whatever Jones was coming out, his race is run.
Whether he was never good enough or whether we've "David Carr-ed" him is immaterial now.
The guy's pocket radar and field awareness is shot.
Theoretically worse QBs than Jones haven't fallen apart like he has behind bad O lines.

Looks like we're heading for a top five pick so we need to look at a QB.
The bigger question is, do we trust this GM HC combo to continue/start-over the rebuild?

I think that's the million dollar question.
Are we drafting bad players or are we picking out talent and destroying it.
Either way, tonight has a finality about it.

This game is starting to feel like a tipping point.

I think that interaction between Daboll and Jones says it all.
