Quote from: MagicRat on December 12, 2023, 05:21:29 PMI'd bet good  hard-earned, currency that's not the case.

Well, @Arodgers12 I hate to say I told you so.....

I'm not an arrogant man, I'd never presume to speak for anyone.
But I think I speak for Giants nation when I say -
GO PACK GO!!!!

Bellichek and Harbaugh are the shiny targets for now.
Beware shiny things.

Leslie Frazier from that list would be my pick

I'm pulling hard for Mayfield and Love.
The battle of the swapped QBs will be fascinating with no dog in the fight.

If we'd lost we'd have jumped one to five.
I'd take handing.these a ball-ache into the playoffs over a one place jump.

Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 07:28:51 PMHe has to be able to get past opposing OLinemen consistently to cause havoc for the opposing QB.
Yes, but he has to be schemed to do that.
He's dropped so often it must've been called.
We've got a player in five, we need to use him better.

Quote from: sooners56 on January 07, 2024, 07:13:23 PMI guess I just don't know the game. I could have swore Thibs was drafted to wreak havoc on opposing QBs. Unless my eyes deceive me Thibs has not even sniffed the QB in the last 4 to 5 games idk 🤷🏼♂️
I've no idea why Thibs has dropped into coverage so much this season, you'd need to ask Wink.
We have a player there, how he's used next year no idea. I'd like to see him causing xxxx in the backfield next year, but I'd more like to see us having a top 5 D next year.
I think the two are in no way exclusive

Quote from: Trench on January 07, 2024, 06:49:25 PMThibs should be FEASTING on this backup Oline!....he is not though
The whole thing has gone flat TBH.
Not that surprising

Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:43:07 PMGuess you are forgetting how bad Taylor was against Buffalo, last week, etc.
I'm not saying Taylor is the second coming of YA Tittle and will lead us to the promised land [I'd say the exact opposite TBH].
But a healthy Taylor wins us more games than a healthy Jones this season IMHO.
Now, that's two HUGE caveats ("healthy") but I'd stand on it.

Quote from: sooners56 on January 07, 2024, 06:33:02 PMHow many games is this in a row where Thibs is useless?
Huh?
Thibs is well active here.

Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:31:50 PMNo chance.
Seattle was the game turned me on Jones.
The pinck six he threw was one million percent on Jones.
That game was there for us, a healthy Tyrod gives us a helluva chance there.
Next season will be tough cos of Jones' contract.

Quote from: bighitterdalama on January 07, 2024, 06:28:44 PMThis is a game thread, not Dan Jones is bad thread. Keep it so.
Sorry in respect of my previous post

Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:24:31 PMWhich game do you think they would have won with him instead of Jones?
Seattle for one......

Quote from: DaveBrown74 on January 07, 2024, 06:17:36 PMDallas/Wash looks over. This game means zilch to the Eagles.
So let's humiliate them, means nothing but let's hope it affects them into next week
