I banged out another episode of the Netflix doc. Into the trial now. Good stuff.

Even with a binge session this weekend it's going to take me another two weeks probably to get through both the documentary and the HBO show.

I'll be honest - right here right now (through 5 episodes), every bit of judgment I have is telling me this guy is guilty as sin. Obviously I won't rush to a conclusion there yet, but it sure looks that way to me now.
Looking forward to discussing it in when you

As some of you may know, I run a small Youtube channel that interviews criminal justice professionals to discuss issues in the system.

Yesterday, I interviewed David Rudolf, who was the lead defence lawyer in the Michael Peterson case which shot to fame in the Netflix documentary, The Staircase. The documentary has recently been dramatised by HBO and stars Colin Firth.

When watching the HBO show, there are a number of factual inaccuracies which David and I discuss. Please note - if you're not familiar with case, this interview will contain spoilers.

No kidding...I did not know we had an author on this site. I've been trying to write a book, but struggle with many things...mostly a young girlfriend that gives me no peace and quiet so I can work, but I digress. What is your genre and have I read anything you've published?
My stuff is academic rather than anything else, all about criminal law.

I liked it.

I thought it was sad that Ruth died too, I was expecting Marty to knock off Camilla.

I despised Wendy and her selfishness and ego throughout the season, I wanted to see the cartel get to her. But that

That one with Peter Sellers getting bit by the dog is hilarious. I remember laughing to tears years ago when I saw that scene the first time - and every time since!
"that is not my dog"...LMAO  =))

I think some of it was Smith trying to reclaim his masculinity after his wife emasculated him on TV when she spoke of the affair with that very young man.

I don't think so as we saw in the opening clip, the entire family is together, happy and leaving before the car crash.

I also thought Wendy would get to visit Ben, but it sure didn't seem that way.
True.

Will have to wait and see. I
