Really!?  The players don't own any responsibility? What about they guys who constantly produced similar results for 4+ seasons...is that on coaching too?

No...you throw him open; its referred to as an anticipatory throw an all quarterbacks capable of throwing for more than 4000 yards a season are able to do it.

To be fair, they paid more upfront to manufacture a reasonable out in just 2 years. They could draft his replacement next year, and cut DJ the following year at cheaper price than retaining DJ for a 3rd season. Obviously, they had limited faith in his ascension.

No one said it's all Jones' fault.  But he consumes a significant portion of the offensive resources; thus, he's expected to be better than the LT making the league min.  It's time to remove the blinders...

Pull DJ to protect him.  It's a feeding frenzy for the DL.  The latter looks energized and the former looks dejected.
