Schoen better pray that Penix and McCarthy don't become franchise QBs.

They need to come out of this draft with a quality guard and running back and then go all in on a quarterback next year. They will be right there drafting high up again next year.

Quote from: DaveBrown74 on April 25, 2024, 06:04:46 PMI think any trade-up for any of the desired QBs this year is going to require a material overpay versus what the fans of the team moving up will feel is fair.I think that reflects how the importance of QB play has skyrocketed the past few years. The emergence of talents like Stroud, Burrow, Mahomes,Allen, Jackson, Love, and others have the have nots scrambling to find their guy.
Quote from: Ed Vette on April 25, 2024, 05:30:33 PMIt's exactly what I said it would take. Do it.I don't think NE wants to trade out. They are playing games. And I don't see Arizona passing on Harrison. They lose him if they trade with Minnesota. And they already have 2 first round picks and 11 total. It's the Chargers that can blow it up for the Giants. But if they swap with the Giants they get either Odunze or Alt while Giants get McCarthy. If they swap with the Vikings they get an extra first round picks but lose Alt and Odunze. We shall see.
