to Trench's point....how often did we see Thibs in pass coverage?   Way too many.  He's a pass rusher first, hopefully an edge setter/run stopper second.  He is not a cornerback.  I never got it, using him that way.

altho IMO the muffed 2 point try was on TT's indecision and bad toss to SB.

I like SB, so yes if for 3-4 mil a year for 2-3 years but we MUST have an O LINE and priorities should be addressed with the $$$ available.  If he still wants top end $$$ he'll have to look elsewhere.

when will teams learn this:  in the late rounds of the draft, when players are essentially equal in talent, draft your St and back up players who have some college [even HS] experience playing the following:  qb, punter, kicker.  Then give them a few lessons in camp, let them practice now and again with the starters, watching, listening, so if you lose two qb's in a game, or a punter, or a kicker, you have a 75-80% decent fill in for the short term.  I'll bet a significant number of late draftees [subs] have that college or HS experience, but a team should clean off the rust for insurance.

has to be something serious for a team to cat a captain mid-season.
needs a lot of vetting IMO.

IMO we need players and cannot afford the draft capital to move up for anyone in this draft.

answer is easy, Rich....we just need to get slower players !!!!!!  :o  /sarcasm/  :o  /sarcasm/

seriously, didn't we think this was one of the fastest Giants teams ever.  yet we still seem to be behind others in that area.

as for the injuries, it happens to us every year at so many positions....you have to wonder what it really is about.

is  Bullock  fully recovered?  Do we have a kicker, or backup for either PK or punter?
