Enough already with the BS crap interviews which nobody cares about since it's all a superfluous exchange of guarded vernacular of non-value added information. The sooner the network goes to commercial, the sooner I can run and take a good for myself, make a run to the fridge and make it back for the second half.

The rest of the NFL head coaches owe Daboll one for his putting his neck out to test the waters in blowing off that interview. Maybe more head coaches will give it a try going forward.

It is! I've had both of my big toes smashed at separate times. Fractured, just an agonizing experience. Try putting a sneaker or shoe on and walk. The only blessing is when they healed, they were actually stronger than before. I was 12 and 14 when I broke one, and then the other. Soon after, I got into high school sports and went through the natural growth spurts of a teenager and it was never an issue after.

As for Ezeudu, his toes are put under a great deal of stress in bearing part of his weight and having to be agile requires movement of the ligaments which support his toes. It may seem odd that a big man can be taken down by a toe injury; however, the toe, a part of the foot, is a complex subsystem of the human body which is designed to handle heavy loads and absorb considerable stresses. But once it is pushed past its maximum capacity, and becomes injured, we seem surprised that such an injury can sideline an athlete for an extended period of time.

If any of you have had a traumatic injury to your lower leg, ankle, feet or toes, you understand how debilitating it can be.

This is all nice and pretty in September and early October. Let's see this metric in mid-November through end of December and let's see how many of the top five are still up there?

An injury involving the cervical spine, the spinal cord and vertebral arteries contained within it is no joking matter and numbness is a possible sign of a nerve being compressed. If he ends up requiring a type of cervical spinal decompression surgery, the chances of him playing again are questionable at the very best.

It's not a good situation and I hope and pray for him that it doesn't come to that as any procedure on your spine is playing Russian Roulette.

Very true. Almost comparable to "Mission Control." You see it at NASA before, during and following a rocket launch and all the way through to mission termination. The only difference between the two is if there's a functional issue before launch, and it cannot be resolved before countdown, the launch is stood down. In the NFL, the show must go on. For that, thank goodness! Yet, history is littered with many launches which had no business going forward which did. In the NFL, it's only a game and people went home at the end of the day. During the space race, it wasn't always the case.
