I have little hope of a win in the Win-dy City. I am optimistic for the future but I bet a Chili Dog lunch that the Gmen will lose by 10...forgive me! Redfaced

For BBH Members only!

USE YOUR BBH SCREEN NAME!

Pick ONLY 5 boxes. The first 20 Members are in. If by Sunday noon all of the boxes are not picked, then anyone can claim as many as they like that are left. It's Yahoo Sports so you have to sign up with your Yahoo account. Many of you participated in the survival and pick'em pools so you have one. Randomized numbers will be placed at kickoff by the site.

Anyone who doesn't follow the directions, I'm sending Weeze after your ass.

Andrew, I remember when they would practice at Pace.  I lived within a 15 to 20 minute drive and therefore I was there a lot.  There was a set of bleachers where the fans would sit.  To the left was the field house which the Giants built for Pace when they opened up their Westchester campus.  There was a 5 to 6 foot walkway in front of the Bleachers and then a wooden ranch fence that separated us from the players.  The players would warm up right in front of us.  One time a number of players were auditioning for a long snappers position including LT.  Needless to say LT was not to good at it and he took a lot of ribbing from the players and coaches.  Parcells in particular was riding him.  The point is they were so close to us you could almost hear them talking to each other.

Another time George Young sat in the stands and talked to fans.  Young had a sharp mouth and there was some pretty good back and forth between him and the fans.

It was a lot simpler then but now it is way too busy and crowded. Soon they will charge big $$ to see them practice and that will thin out the crowds. /sarcasm/
A different time and place.

"It was brutally and I mean Brutally hot today.   The players even took a 10-minute cooldown break (inside) and the Giants kept reminding people to hydrate (but that didn't stop them from letting people stand in the blazing sun for an hour because they refuse to open up the gates early and let fans get under the awnings of the stands"
The Giants should be much better to the fans...in many ways.

Assuming that major coaching changes are being considered, who is involved in these discussions? If Jerry Reese may be fired, who decides that? Do you expect them to wait until the season is over?

I went to Vandy's website and they featured a clip of Belichick checking out their linebacker. No mention of JR.  This says the Giants are looking at Zach too.

I will be very interested in the careers of Jabrill Peppers and Christian McCaffrey. Peppers is a local kid who played at Paramus Catholic, and MCCaffrey because of his dad being a Giant. They are both very exciting multi talented guys and I look forward to seeing how they are viewed by the NFL in the draft and how they do as pros.

Rich: I did the same exercise and came up four names: Njoku, Bolles, Peppers and Watson

I believe the probability that at least three of them will be there is about 90 percent.

Now for the difficult part: I also figure two of them are likely to be busts..... so......   LOL  Bob

Bob, you know I respect your opinion, so which one will be the star?  ;)

I thought we needed a 6"3" or 6.'4" WR, not another one who may be 6'0" or 6'!".
