This is rough.  Defense has been bad!  They are getting good opportunities but not finishing them!  No good.  It is a long season and it can be turned around, but the way they are playing out might be longer still!

Good for him.  I like that spot for him.  Hopefully he does well there.

Yeah I'm worried too.  This was a very winnable game.  They are having trouble scoring.  They were getting chances and miss the shot or miss the pass.  That happened a lot late last year too and was a worry heading into to the playoffs.  I hope they can turn this around.

Quote from: T200 on November 24, 2024, 03:00:12 PMGlad it's not up to the BBH membership. We'd had a new coaching staff every couple of years.

Hah!  I am very glad it's not up to me!  Whatever I decided, it would probably be wrong.  I feel what I feel, but hop them football people make the right choices.

I was not on board with switching coaching staff this year...

Until they tried that stupid trick play.  I think I have seen enough of this guy.  I agree with you guys.  We need a proven coach to come in a and straighten out this ship.

Damnit!  Why did they do that?  They were running the ball so well there!

Or Elle Duncan.
I don't think anyone is saying they are the problem.

Acting like that lacks class.  I have little respect for people mocking others.  It's the mark of a bad person when you feel good making others feel bad.

While I think it was a bad spot, I don't think he challenged it because it needs to be clear, and it really wasn't.

Good job getting them off the field! I am surprised the Bucs didn't keep running.  I am not sure the Giants can stop the run, even if they know it is coming.

Well, quite an abysmal performance by the Rangers tonight.  Might be their worst game in a while.

Oh well. It's a long season. Hopefully they can get it together.

Yep  They were definitely better in the 2nd, but barely. Hopefully they put together a strong 3rd.

Quote from: kartanoman on November 23, 2024, 11:35:27 AMHow far upstate, if I may ask, as I did time in the Mohawk Valley for nearly 10 years, save for two in Albany going to college.

The snow that fell in November was usually still around, in pockets, at the final thaw in April. By then, you're so sick of it and depressed due to lack of sun and intense cold you just want to escape. I left in 1992 to join the military and have spent the rest of my life, save for a stint in South Korea, in the lower 48. I'll take the intense heat of Phoenix over 10 feet of snow in the Adirondacks for six months anytime!

That and a snowy football game as well!

Peace!
I grew up in Saratoga county.  I moved to Kentucky in 2013 for work and been in this region since.

I'm a the exact opposite. Can't stand the heat.  I can always get warmer by adding layers, but I can only take so much off before people get offended.

Happy birthday!   He seems to be the real deal.  Looking forward to watching him run some more.

I am quite behind on Yellowstone.  Just started season 3 last night.  I need to catch up!

I think it has been mentioned, but I am all finished on Slow Horses.  Excellent show.  Oldman is great in everything and this is no exception.

Speaking of Gary Oldman, my family just went to the theater the other night to see the 25(6)th anniversary showing of The Fifth Element.  He is so good in that.  Really everyone is.  What makes that movie so good is the whole cast and crew just seem to be having a really fun time making it.  It really shows.

Along the lines of Apple TV, Silo season 2 is started.  Season 1 was really good so I am excited to get back into that, but I am going to wait until I finish Yellowstone S3.  Severance is weird, but good.  Season 2 of that is soon.  I also really enjoy Foundation, though that is more for the "Empire" story line, not that the rest is bad.

I agree. Snow games are great.   I'm a fan.  We had snow the same day though it rarely sticks here in southern Indiana.  Makes me miss my hometown in upstate NY where we had snow for weeks at a time multiple times a year.  Maybe one day I'll move back.  Anyway...

Hopefully we'll get many more snow games.
