Just finished a documentary film about The Beatles 14 day tour of America in 1964. It is pretty good for us older Beatles fans. Brought back a lot of memories of that time for me. Was put out by Apple, produced by Paul and Ringo. It is named "Beatles '64"

I'm almost 77. Been retired for about 15 years. My take on it.

Weatherman say 6 to 8 inches of snow here tomorrow so I won't be happy about that. I hope you folks have a great Thanksgiving!

Quote from: MightyGiants on November 22, 2024, 03:48:23 PMFrom what I read about Milroe, he could prove to be another Lamar Jackson.

I've seen every game he has played at Alabama. The first year I wasn't very impressed. His 2nd year I thought his long passes were pretty good, his running was very good but his intermediate passes were hit or miss. This year his whole game has been very good and I also see a lot of Lamar in him. But what do I know. I was a big Daniel Jones fan.

In the vein of retirement, I'm curious about what you have for health insurance. We have a Medicare advantage plan. Overall I am pretty happy with it. We are in pretty good health so fortunately we haven't had to use it that often. A couple of downfalls is it doesn't do much for eye or dental issues.  Next year the plan I chose will cover 1 eye exam. The only real issue is that I have 1 prescription for my COPD inhaler cost me a couple of hundred a month because it's a high tier drug. But other than we are pretty happy with it. No monthly cost is a good thing.

No shots after the first 2. I'm done with all the covid stuff. I'm pretty sure I've had covid a few times in the past few years but it's just the same as a cold. Just feel crappy for a few days and then back to normal. But I'll support your decision to keep taking then if that's what you want to do.

Quote from: Trench on November 10, 2024, 10:07:40 AMI think it's safe to finally say there is a possibility Daniel Jones is the worst starting QB (with more than one season in that role) the Giants have ever had.

I'm sure you would bitch about Jones even if they hung him with a brand new rope.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Broadcast Map for Sunday

The game will be broadcast in both NYC and Charlotte NC. This a always the case for the 2 home cities. It's the same when Amazon or the NFL network has the broadcast rights. If you look at the 506 broadcast map it will always list the 2 local stations you can watch.

No Giants in New England. Both the Giants and Patriots on Fox @ 1:00. Pats always get that game.

Are you able to get games like this on that contraption of yours?

Yes I  can. This is the reason I bought it.

No respect for us Maine fans. But that's becoming the norm.
