Ed, great post =D>

I was at that tailgate and remember the phone being passed around and was honored to chat with him for a few minutes. :ok:

Also Chris who may have been the most knowledgeable about Giants history.

Not to difficult here but my given name is Thomas. Most call me tomeee. But many just call me "E".

The Front Porch / Re: Welcome New Members!
August 02, 2021, 10:50:46 AM
Welcome new thoughts are very appreciated. Some of us have been around for over 25 years and have come and gone. I know many attend the home games and we have gotten together for away games either traveling to the game or watching in a bar / sports venue.

Several tailgates exist and anyone is welcome to come on over. There is plenty of beer and food. If anyone would like to give it a try PM me.

Just pointing out the repetitive and boring posts are becoming the main stream here and the reason I don't contribute more.

As I stated which obviously went over your head that I was curious about why political discussions are now allowed. I and I'm sure many members have had posts deleted because they were deemed not appropriate. i am fine with that but again I question if the censorship is biased?

As for the Chinese virus I am not racist and firmly believe ALL LIVES MATTER. IF you don't want racism don't segregate a group based on nationality or color. And yes my post was a joke.

What about the white kid killed by a cop last week? Should we form protests? Should we burn down burger kings? Do we all buy white live matters shirts and caps?

Are political discussions now allowed?

Are they only allowed for when the mod's go back and forth endlessly?

Take it to PM after 17 pages most people with half a brain know your positions.

This is very sad news.

While I did not know him personally he was a great member of the group.

Condolences and prayers for his family.

I know you guys did a great job.

Sorry but I don't have 36 minutes to listen to a podcast.

Do you think you can condense the highlights in a written post?

Thanks for all the cooking the food as usual was great and plentiful. =D> =D> =D>

It was a tad warm but right at the end the stadium provided us some shade.

It was a pleasure catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.

We briefly discussed trying to bring back the away game get together. Which primarily has been a local NY / NJ get together to watch the Giants when they are on the road. It has also been getting group tickets to a Giants away game and all meet up at a remote location. In the past these were great times.

With Lenn bringing fresh picked fruit I'll go with chips and dip.

We have 14 people coming. Please review the list and then quote this post and fill in what you are bringing. Again, you don't have to bring anything as I'm sure there will be enough food. Items to bring are snacks/chips/dip, cheese, veggie or fruit platters and cold cuts.

Andrew, check out the times that the train leaves Secaucus Junction to the Meadowlands.  Service usually begins 3 1/2 hours before stadium events with departures every 10 - 20 minutes, then hourly during events, and every 10 minutes afterwards for 1 - 2 hours after events or until the last scheduled departure.

You get a train at Penn Station and get off at Secaucus Junction where you will transfer to the train to Metlife.  The whole trip including waiting time for the trains should take no longer then 30 to 45 minutes.

When you get off of the train call us and someone will guide you to the parking lot where we will be.

For more see, https://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=MeadowlandsTo

First train should be 3:30. If you don't want to wait or deal with the crowds take an uber from Secaucus.
