I did notice that Nabers seemed to take a couple of plays off, but he might as well have, because Jones, the whole only locked in one receiver\...Even with Nabers wide open for a 20 yard gain, he never checked off the safety and by the time Jones threw, he was already breaking and broke up the pass

Looking at what prior gm's and scouts say...Outside of the qb's, Nabers would be their #1 pick.....

This was by far the safest pick for the tean...Give Jones a top WR and hopefully, an improved line, and then lets judge him

His blocking was much worse then in 2022

What current Giant's fans might not know or remember is that Eli's first few years were much like Daniel Jones's...It took him a few years, and had to bring in talent to help him !!

That was a special time to be a Giant's fan...

Even our back up linebackers back then Headen and Hunt were better then our current starters..

We had a full back and two TE's who could actually block...

And the two best coaches !!
