Quote from: kingm56 on September 23, 2024, 02:15:23 PMI agree, Rich; however, the luck seems to even out over the year. If the Giants' didn't lose Gano last week, I think they win that game. So, we lost a game we should of won, and won a game we should have lost. That's why I don't like playing the ifs and but game...it usually evens out.

Quote from: Ed Vette on September 22, 2024, 05:23:50 PMGive the devil his due. He adjusted his defensive strategy and found out how to apply pressure. I agree that taking your foot off the throttle, got the Browns back in the game.
To me this is a statement by the team in support of Daboll and in their pride.
Jones played a good game for DJ. However he missed seeing open Receivers further downfield, over threw what could have been two deep touchdowns, and needed to throw a pass away and got himself in trouble. That could have been a disaster.
Stupid penalties amd mistakes need to be cleaned up, especially fumbling the ball for the second week in a row and in a kickoff return. How many of you thought, "Here we go again!" A less resilient team would have crawled into a ball and given up.
They should be 2-1. As I said last week, the Vikings are or were a very underrated team. That game is on Daboll for not preparing the first team opening day once again again.
If they can stay relatively healthy and improve each week, this is something to build on.
