And that song is awful.Always hated the various Are You Ready for Some Football songs. Just so over the top.

I'm glad Shep is still in the league and wish him well. As for Saquon I expect he won't bring the value they hope. Very talented. He'll have a few highlight reel runs but he won't do much in the way of helping them win. I'm a 4 yards and a cloud of dust fan when it comes to a running game.

First, let me say I despise the sports betting industry and especially how ESPN has hopped into bed with these businesses. Having said that it looks like a sports book accused Singletary of point shaving when he gave himself rather than take the TD. I hope he's considering suing the poster. It's a terrible thing to accuse an athlete with no basis in fact. And these sleazy businesses need to be checked hard.
Here's the story

Am I crazy for thinking that a current middle of the pack NFL QB would do well in this Giants offense? The OLine seems fairly competent. Singletary is solid and our receiving corps gives a qb a lot of options.
The test of this will be to see how Jones' replacement will do when he gets benched or injured. I look at Lock and Cutlets competing for QB2 of the future. If it was up to me I'd bench Jones asap and hand the keys to DeVito. Lock just seems to be Jones all over again. DeVito is a kid who can learn the system and let players like Robinson and Nabers to make plays.
For these reasons I'd like to see what are the QB free agent options for this offseason.

I was unaware of the implications of DJ being injured.  With that information, I think they should give him the first half next week and yank him if he's still throwing inaccurate 7 yard passes. In fact if he's making egregious errors after two possessions, yank him and don't ever let him back.

This really looks like the giants are playing with a project QB who was a pretty good Australian Rules Football player.

If they continue this way, Jones should be replaced by week 4 at the latest. It's not all his fault but he's awful. Yes a DL was coming at him on that awful throw to Johnson but come on. He's wide open.

Love the empty backfield QB sneak. Let's just leave it all on Jones' shoulders.

It's nice to have positional depth. Could provide some interesting short yardage combinations. With a bunch of guys who can block or catch.

Barkley is a luxury item for a team that needs the basics. He may thrive in Philly but that won't mean the Giants didn't do the right thing by letting him walk. Having said that I have this funny feeling that he's going to disappoint. There were a few games in the last few years when we could have sown up a win with a few runs by Saquon. And he didn't get it done.
You can say that the line didn't do their part, but then there were a couple of untimely fumbles by him when he's known for his ball security. One play that comes to mind was a long run where he stumbles and then fumbles in open field. My thought is that as talented as he is, he just may not be that guy.

Lawrence Taylor. In fairness I was ten. Plus, Giants were awful back then, but linebacker was already an area of great strength. Plus, a lot of people at the time were saying Hugh Green was a better linebacker.

He should've communicated his intentions quite a few weeks ago.
Lack of communication with who? The team? How do we know he didn't communicate this with the team? Maybe I'm missing something though. Haven't been following this closely.

It's been almost 7 days since the Giants have won a Super Bowl. What has TC done for us lately? I don't like the way he's handling the post Super Bowl situation. Everyone's going to be gunning for us, and I haven't heard a single word out of him about how he's preparing the team. Guy's getting way too complacent. Time to shake things up.

Look folks I'm all for giving the guy a honey moon after this flukish Super Bowl, but anyone who's paying attention can clearly see that game has passed him by.  Let's get out in front of this problem and be proactive. Sending Coughlin packing would send a powerful message that nobody's safe.  Complacency is the enemy.
I'll be printing up t-shirts for everyone to wear to the opening game/ring ceremony. Who's with me?
