It's not about that.  It's about owning the media narrative and continuing to have the Cowboys front and center. 

Plus, increasingly, the tickets aren't sold regardless.  You can tell by the increasing number of opposing fans who get in.  Home fans don't want to see their team stink up the joint every week.

Not b/c he'd succeed, but because Jerry needs a sideshow like that to sell tickets and prop up merch sales.

His team has less young talent than the Giants, and he has built a dysfunctional roster.

Even with Dak, who is looking like a shot QB, Deion and Son will elevate the soap opera with the increase in interest.

He's taken a hellacious beating over the years. Yes, I think it's made him gun-shy in the pocket, but he still puts his body on the line when he takes off with the ball.

For the team's own good and for his own good, it's time to give him a well-deserved rest.

I've reached the point where I simply root for players to get out of the game with their faculties still intact.  I'm rooting for Jones to do the same.

I think this is why Daboll will be fired before too much longer--don't know what he said to the team after the game, but every single player KNEW that his failure to have a kicker back-up plan cost them the game.

True dat. But it's not like there weren't some character yellow flags.  With the gun thing happening AFTER he was drafted.

No doubt about his talent, but we'll see if the character issues are bugs or a feature.

However, the spate of 'So and So Is Turning Heads In Camp' stories amount to only one thing:

Clickbait.

How is it even possible that the Jets and Reddick didn't have this worked out beforehand?
