Hi Patti, thanks as always  for doing this.   Here's my question...

Given our situation of being eliminated from the play-offs do you think we'll see Webb playing anytime soon?  There are many on this site who think he needs to play so we can evaluate him before the draft, where there may be more than one franchise type QB when we pick.

Congratulations Patti Traina you have just been hired as the new GM of the New York Giants.   What do you do with your first round pick ( let's assume for this question both Darold & Rosen are coming out and you have the 2nd pick).  Do you pick one of the QBs or do you trade the picks for some more picks and try to fill in the gaps in our line up with as many 1st through 3rd picks you can get in the trade?

All I have heard from the pundits, is that Darian Thompson will be the starter.  Did I miss something here?

I too watch SEC football alot, (Arkansas fan) & I'm in the same camp with Bama on this.  He is a class guy, on a perrenial National championship team, but not worth the trade up unless it is for our 3rd or less.  I'd sooner pick up Kittle or Culkin on the 3rd day before doing this.

We have too many OL holes to fill, and other pressing needs that are higher IMHO...DL, CB, RB, LB & QB.  If we're going to make a run at the title, which is going to be harder than last year.

Howard, wouldn't put us over the top IMHO.

Personally neither. I hope that we can sign Fassano as a FA.  He's young, great blocker, and already an NFL starter.

I really think that it is truly a crap shoot with anyone other than Howard at the TE spot.  We can't afford crap shoots right now.  Eli only has a couple of decent years left.

Todge, I think you're correct...we will learn more soon (hopefully).  FTR, some of the other pundits include him in their top 15 or 20 players in the draft.

From what I've read about him and his stats, I would love to see him in Giant blue next year.  I believe that he would be the 3rd DE on our team (assuming we resign JPP).

Very interesting.  Some of us (myself included) have openly stated that Taco Charlton (Michigan) could/would be the Giants pick at # 23 in the 1st round.  He's not even on MM's list of the top 5 edge rushers or LBs.  Hmmm...very interesting indeed.

FTR...I tried to enter my picks on Friday, but my wifi carrier (comcast) was having trouble in our area & didn't get it resolved until Sat evening...after the race.  I know I wouldn't have picked either of the horses that came in  1st or 2nd, but I would have picked Exaggerator to win.

That said, <speech insert>...I want to thank all of the people who helped me reach this point in my race picking career: body by Jake; my personal trainer whom without I couldn't have done this, Uncle Buck; my handicapper at the local horse track, my...O.K. all kidding aside...Vette this was fun & I look fwd to next year's contest...thanks for running it!!!

Pure chalk...I know, but I didn't like any of the other horses.  I don't even like Stradivari that much, but nothing else looked good to me.
