I miss Retro...and this article is one HUGE reminder as to why.  =D>

He's a good guy, and was always a great contributor...in relation to Coughlin...it takes one to know one.  :D

O.J. was a premier back during his time with the Cardinals. He was a very good back, and a great leader for the Giants.

I don't know if he was the greatest but Lil'Joe was my All-Time favorite Giants RB. Lil' was a misnomer, he was a short, powerful back with speed, and he could run inside or out, pick up the blitz, catch passes, and run block.

He was part of the Giants turnaround, he dominated in more than a handfull of games in 1986 (1st title in 30 yrs), so I'll always have a soft spot for him.

Brian...awesome work! Thanks for the insight.

Funnily enough, for some reason when you put this up I assumed the Manning to Manningham winning TD connection in the NFC Championship game in Frisco  :D

Mario certainly had his share of moments in this run.

Regarding Eli, I marvel at how fast these reads need to be made, and how quickly he executes.

It's scary to think about Eli continuing this level of play with a sufficient running game and better pass protection moving forward.  =D>

Thanks again, BIG HITTER!

Perfect...let's hire a guy who let his college stars ROID UP...and when he got his shot with the Cowboys decided to BE a Cowboy by  carrying his gun through the airport.

Oh...and we can bring in another who coached 15 years with one franchsie before winning a SB (which was gifted to him by the refs)..oh..and while he's at it...he can convert this terrible scheme to his signature 3-4 defense.

<:-P

The sarcasm is runnin thick, Boys!

1)  What part of the Country do you live in? Atlanta Georgia

2)  How long have you been a Giants fan? Since 1970 (I was 8 years old)

3)  What do you do for a living? I am a Sports Marketing Account Manager

4) Anything else you would like to mention about yourself? I was born in Canton, Ohio where my father was a Barber in the city. He enjoyed the good fortune of being "The" barber that all of the enshrinees, coaches, players etc. came to see for a clean up before Saturday. When I was a kid, I used to shine shoes of the men in the chair. Needless to say there were some great memories of that shop...and I could make this an exhaustive post. Suffice it to say, that's when football...and the Giants got in my blood, and it's never left.

Edit to add:

I've relocated to Los Angeles to run a sports marketing firm which represents all of the radio play by play broadcasts for every NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL team...as well as select college programs. After 9 years in the south, I'm ecstatic to be back in LA!

So sorry. It is always difficult to lose a loved one, but even moreso during this time of year.

My heart goes out to his family.

Whodathunk it?

Out of my upset specials:

KC to beat Washington
Buffalo to beat the Jests
Tennessee to be the Pats

Tennessee would be the one to let me down...and get WHACKED 59-0 no less?!!
To add insult to injury, my fantasy team was playing a team with Brady and Moss in it's line up (and Maurice Jones Drew). UUGGHHH

Not a good day for football!!  ~X(

is this with or without the spread?

Doesn't matter, I'll weigh in this week:

Tennessee
Kansas City
Buffalo (YES, I picked buffalo!)

Great stuff...well thought out!

I came from the old board, as Rich gave me a heads up long ago that he was developing this one.
I must admit, he FAR exceeded my expectations with his goal of civility, and just good, healthy Giants talk.
This is light years better than the old board with respect to the stated goal (with all due respect and love to Adrienne)

Well done, Rich!
