Painter - I am all for their execution..

Agree Wilks is the only one who can cover a TE or RB or for that matter Randy Moss - but all other MIKES are strong point of attack guys with that skill set. I do not see this as our base D....Our corners are press guys and this D is not a press D for the corners....If you play this D you negate what TT / Weby and Ross do best...

However you do play to the strength's of the S - KP / Rolle and Jones..

Chris - I too have always been a Wilks guy - last chance this year - too much speed and talent / shake the inj and see what we got..

1. Morgan
2. Butler
3. Jones

If not Morgan - I would have moved back about 5 spots and grabbed Pouncey or Iupati..

Happy with Rounds 2 and 3 and 4...Not so much on Rd 1 - I will let it play out but see no year 1 help from JPP - situational only..

Price and Cody could be had at 46 along with Lee and Butler....Kindle surprises me....I will most likely be happier with my second rounder than my first rounder.

UK - any thoughts on Stuckey - S from K State. I love Jones from LSU and I love Stuckey..

GMO - I think Spikes can come close...I will go you one better - I thought McClain was the best player on the field every time he played - thought that when he was a soph as well....Perhaps the Fla games as an exception - with Tebow...

My mantra and I know people are sick of it - he was the best player on the best defense of the best team in the country...

Everybody loves Cody and says he shielded him which he did - but remember Cody comes off the field quite a bit - poorly conditioned athlete - struggled in humid conditions - saw that 400 lbs on the sideline quite a bit...By the way mocking the large one aside - I would also like Cody on my team..

Nice write up - saw Butler twice last year - was impressed with everything he did. If no McClain - I think Butler/Lee/Spikes - any one of the three could please me.

Feel bad for Spikes - I think he is a keeper and will have a chip on his shoulder - he goes in Rd 3 or 4 - somebody gets an angry/hungry player. All he did in college was perform at a high level in the best conf in the country...I would be very happy with him - perhaps not so matching up against Westbrook types - but I think he is still worth a look in Rd 2...I think his game is nice and he is physical..

We have to remember if KP comes back - we have 2 extremely gifted athletes at S - that cures many ills over the middle. I am not ruling out Spikes..

Great stuff - very informative..I hear Price may move to round 2 - but not so sure down to 46....Cam Thomas intrigues me - have heard the name more than once as of late...Butch Davis kids are suited for the NFL game - he may have been a horrible NFL coach but he knows players and he knows the NFL game...

Davis said last year - that Nicks was NFL ready and that anybody who drafted him would love him right away - we all agree...He touted Tate as well who Pats love but was injured....I would be curious what he says about this kid...

I tend to agree Painter - and Morgan has intrigued me as of late...Unsettled situation with Osi and Kiwi is due up next year...Morgan has great skills...

My wish is simple - McClain ( not likely ) Spiller ( not likely ) but Williams I think may be there at 15 if both these are gone and there appears to be love for Thomas and Morgan that might drop Williams to us...

I am just such an Eli guy and would love to see him with a full complement of weapons and Spiller just blows me away with his skill set...

Painter - hypothetically - if MClain is not there and Spiller is at 15 - do you grab him?

I would - I love BJ and his fire - but he has not proved to be durable - AB I love as well but injuries could be problematic with him. DJ Ware - non entity as far as I can see....And Brown coming off injury is a question - but I think he will be fine. I hate the log jam that could be present there but Spiller is fantastic and he gives us a dimension we are missing....

My opinion - too good to pass up....But a good OC and HC would find a way to get a guy like that on the field and get him his touches..

My guess though - he will not be there at 15...Fins will grab him if McClain is gone..
