He certainly has an engaging personality and it's easy to see why he has the reputation of being a good locker room guy

They have good leaders with outgoing personalities who have been resilient through adversity. I don't expect either of them to be sulking on the bench after a turnover. The only thing Tommy had going for him was enthusiasm. Now it's tripled and Winston has accepted his tertiary responsibilities.

That would be true if they had a hands off owner. You don't find the owners of successful franchises publicly talking so much about personnel moves.

That should always be priority number 1, regardless of the temperature of the seat.

They ranked from 10th-16th in that time frame and that is solid. 10-16 is significantly better than what we are used to and that was with 5 guys that had never played together, which stands to reason that they would get better with reps and the new oline coach. Us drafting olinemen hasn't panned out, so just sign FAs and be done with it. Russell Wilson is more than capable of throwing deep with a top 10-16 line.

If they draft Sanders, its my opinion that they were told to by Mara or believed that they had to because of his public (and unnecessary) proclamation about getting a franchise QB this year.  Either is not good

Everything they've done to this point indicates they're not too worried about the future right now.  So I fully expect the pick to be either Carter or Hunter.  They will probably draft a QB later in the draft perhaps the late 3rd rounder or 4th rounder.  But the first 3 picks I would guess are players that they believe at least MIGHT start from day 1. 

I agree, with the addition of Wilson and Winston, Schoen and Daboll shouldn't feel a need to "reach" for Sanders to fill a need.  The may still draft him because they believe he will become a good franchise QB, but the pick shouldn't be out of desperation
