How do Slayton, Hyatt, and Robinson stack up to the best in the league?

Some of those players have hit their peak and or will have dropped off a bit. Kupp, Diggs, Aiyuk, Allen...

Hyatt and Robinson (injured) both now have a full season even though their playing time was limited.

This is their pivotal season. Wait and see.

Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

It's the pivotal season if they have a QB who can get them the ball. That aside, my sense is that our trio doesn't compare to any of these groups and it's one of the reasons I want 1 of the 3 WRs in the draft if we don't get a QB that the brain trust believes in.

The Dolphins and Eagles receiving core is awesome.

I would have loved it if the Giants had that group.

Rams trio is also darn good.

Giants need them to develop more pkus replace Slayton.

When was the last time the Giants hit a homerun (hell, or even a triple) with a day-three pick?

It seems like they are out there but identifying them is a problem for the Gmen.

Under Accorsi, the Giants were pretty good at finding day three gems.  The further they moved from EA being GM, the worse they got in terms of day 3.

I am taking all those teams #2 before I even think about grabbing any of the GIants WRs.
Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

No doubt the Giants are a long way from the top of the league in terms of wide receiver talent. With that said, it is not clear to me at this stage exactly what we're looking at with guys like Wan'Dale and Hyatt. There is a chance one or both of them could be pretty good. Even if that's the case though, there is no alpha dog, X receiver on this team.

I would be happy if we have an alpha dog at slot, Z or X.

Slot - How close is Robinson to the best slot WRs?  He seems to have a lot of wiggle but does he know how to find and sit in open areas like the best slot WRs?

Z - How close is Hyatt to the best Z WRs?  Being off LOS does he possess the route skills to make quick moves to cut/slant in both directions or does he work strictly as more of a linear vertical threat?

X - Of course we need an X.  Slayton has speed but I dont think he fights off jams well and I dont think he wins contested catches outside hashmarks well.

I'm not concerned about where they stack up against other receiving corps. I'm more concerned with how they develop chemistry with their QB.
