Of course it's fair. He's been targeted 7 times and has dropped 2 of them. It's his job to catch the ball. If you're a rookie and you can't be relied upon to do your job, you're not going to get looks. It's pretty simple.

I look at it like he's a kid and caught 5...keep feeding him...it opens up rest of field...2 drops at beginning of career isn't that bad

What kind of play call was that?

It was a run-of-the-mill throwaway and the type of play that happens a dozen times every game. Most times the QB floats it way out of bounds, it just so happens in this case he threw it right at someone.

No, he's caught 2. So he has many drops as he does catches. He's not reliable and isn't entitled to "being fed" when there are many other more reliable targets.
