Did the Giants bench Jones in an effort to tank?

Jones was benched l to protect his financial impact 

He was asked if he would waive the injury clause in order To continue playing for the Giants? He completely ignored the question.

This was a business decision on both sides

Well you see Larry, this was a question posed to a topic Rich posted about other teams that have tanked. Rich felt it was off topic, so he split it and made it a separate thread. So instead of it addressing those who it would apply to, it looks like it's addressing the entire forum.

You see Larry, in order to start a topic about other teams tanking it implies that the Giants are tanking. Since Daniel Jones was the only move made, it really is relevant to the topic. But there were about a dozen other recent topics Rich and others started about Jones and this one was the straw that broke the forum's Back.
