I remember watching him as a kid.


Here is a great documentary on the man with a focus on the ship the Calypso


Of course a great homage of JC was The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou which you can see on Hulu

and of course

I loved watching his shows too.

If you liked Cousteau, you might like the documentary on Netflix called My Octopus Teacher.  A diver visits the same octopus every day for months. They slowly develop a relationship. The diver is amazed by the octopus's intelligence.  The underwater footage is beautiful to watch.
