barring injury, 4 of the 5 will be in the RB room.  If we need a FB, they'll use an OL or a blocking TE.  IMO Brightwell had some promise, as do all the other young RB's.  Singletary can't carry the full load.  I see 3/4 of them sticking with singletary.

He added zero value as an actual RB. We can find special teams players everywhere.

He was waived injured.   We don't know when he would have been able to contribute

Riley was trying to win the slot corner job in Pittsburgh. Nada. Played for Army, only 25. Likely special teamer, if at all.. Originally started with the Eagles.

Brightwell did ittle for me.

Brightwell is a guy who was a bizarre pick at the time he was picked, and despite (I'm sure) no lack of effort on his part, he never managed to do much at the NFL level.

Letting him go was the right thing. I wish him the best.

I see what you did there. 😏

Riley played a lot of Special Teams for Pittsburgh last year. I'm not sure the Giants had enough safeties on the roster to practice without the 1st and 2nd stringers getting a ton of work, and some of those guys are new to the team. He is one injury away from being in the safety rotation. He can also fill in at CB in a pinch, which is where he played in college, but with 11 CBs already on the preseason roster, that isn't going to happen.

Go Army!

Looks like A good opportunity for Tyrone Tracy to compete with Eric Gray for that second spot. My money is on Tracy if he can learn how to pass protect.

I think Corbin and Tracy jump Gray.

I hated that pick when it was made. No production in college but was somehow expected to produce in the NFL? A complete waste of a pick even for a 6th rounder. Another Dave Gettleman special. Smartest man in the room.
