I think this show would be on everyone's top 10 list of all-time favorite TV shows. We all have seen it and we all love many of the episodes. Here in NY, they do a Twilight Zone marathon a couple of times a year so it is always available.

Here is a list of what one person feels are the top 100 episodes. I thin k the top 10 are pretty spot on although we all have our personal favorites.

Another list and again, can't disagree with any of them.

I guess my favorite episode was with Bill Shatner (he was in a few best episodes)
Nightmare at 20,000 ft
I'm not great with the names of all the episodes, but the one with Cloris Leachman as an old lady trying to fight off little men who landed on her roof. You had to know the spaceship was from the USA. I think it was The Invaders
Wasn't there also one where Art Carney played Santa Claus?
Also the one with the bomb shelter and the guy couldn't let his neighbors and friends into it.
Nightmare on Maple Street was so relevant when it was shown.

I always believed that when the episodes were written by Serling, they always seemed better than the others.

It was The Invaders, but not Cloris Leachman. It was Agnes Moorehead.

Art Carney was Santa in Night of the Meek.

Like you, Len, I like the Serling written episodes.

He went to school in Binghamton, and credits one of his teachers, Helen Foley, for inspiring him to become a writer. In a first season episode titled "Nightmare as a Child" the lead actress plays a teacher named Helen Foley.

Thanks Steve for the correction.
