Saw it last night.  It's prt of a four movie saga.  No character development, beginning/ending, standalone type movie.

More like a collection of images than well put together story.

He put his own money into financing it.  He's going to lose a lot of money.

I had read he put his own money into it.  When I read it, I thought he was making a huge mistake.  $100 million dollar movie made just $11 million opening weekend.

Costner has had mixed results as a director. He might be better off just sticking to acting.

Although at this point he can do whatever he wants, I guess.
