How do you think Barkley will do this year in Philly?

It will say a lot about the Giants if Barkley shines in Philly- how will he do?

He is not a Giant anymore so I voted couldn't care less. It's not like we cut him, he bolted and to our enemy. I don't wish for any player to get hurt but I hope he trips over the 50 yard line on opening day, twists his ankle and is done for the year. I simply can't root for someone who didn't want to be here.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Is it really accurate to say he didn't want to be here? The Giants weren't going to pay him anywhere near what the Eagles did. Seems harsh to hope he hurts himself because he wasn't willing to play here for way less money than what another organization was offering for his first non-rookie contract.

BTW, I would never have advocated matching what the Eagles paid as I think Barkley is no longer the player he was at his peak, and I think he is too much of an injury risk to be shelling out that kind of money, but I don't wish ill on the guy.

While Barkley will 100 % be behind a much more elite o-line .... He will also be in an offense that has tons of more options .... He won't be that guy in Philly

So I see his numbers being the same and maybe slightly better

I think he will significantly underperform his contract.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

It will confirm whether he re really
Was a huge disappointment
Or our oline and offense really was his problem as so many people love to point out

If he really is a gold jacket guy he should look like Barry sanders in philly

Well you thought Gary Brightwell was better than him. So I think you are in for a rude awakening when you see him in Philly. I know he'll do well, but a 12 mill a year 27 yr old Rb is not what the Giants or any rebuilding team needs right now. So yes I don't care, I imagine he'll do well but that is not what the Giants need right now.
