I do too, Kat; for the preseason games, I actually prefer to listen to the opposition telecast, which allows me to glean a different perspective.

Not me. They only know their own players and usually don't both to learn about the 90 rostered players on our team so it's completely biased filled with in-game interviews with the starters who are not playing.

If you have NFL+, I suggest you go back and listen to the Houston telecast.  They have plenty of analysis on DJ, and our offensive and defensive lines.  Concerning DJ, lets just say their take was very different than Paps and Banks.   You are correct about their knowledge regarding our 3rd and 4th stringers.  However, does that really matter?  They won't be on the team or playing in a few weeks.  Opposing perspectives are the best way to glean insight, and challenge preconceived notions.

Yes it matters! The Jets crew which shares a market with us are broadcasting the game like it's the Jets vs Blue Bots.

TD: Yeah, I was saddened to find out we were the away team (so the Jets' announcers did the network game).
Actually, they could have been A WHOLE LOT worse, but I still didn't like them.

And they ran interviews (audio AND VIDEO) while plays were being run and didn't even show the action.

That was bush league. I suppose I could have set my equipment up to listen to Papa/Banks on the radio while watching the TV but I was too lazy to get up. lol
