Makes sense to me when you consider they have

Malek Nabers WR
Dru Phillips CB
Theo Johnson TE
Tyler Nubin S

all starting

Plus, Chatman is a key rotational player at DT

Maseau started week 1 too.

And all of them with the possible exception of Johnson are playing at a high level.  Not a bad draft class on paper so far.

I think Theo will be good with a bit more seasoning. He almost had a very nice TD grab last week was just a tad high. He seems to be blocking well, not getting flagged, and they are trusting him with alot early on.

Rosehill Jimmy

Certainly better to see rookies doing well as opposed to the alternative. But whenever a discussion involves newbies, I'm reminded of what Casey Stengel had to say about a Mets prospect during the team's early years " that young man is 19 and in 10 years he has a chance to be 30"

Teams that ate perennial 5-12 type teams should be starting the largest number of rookies.  They are bad for a reason and need new talent.

I am just glad this season they finally drafted players who can crack a poor starting lineup.

It's such a different philosophy than when Coughlin was the coach. He was averse to playing rookies right away with some exceptions like OBJ, Snee, Pugh. Tuck didn't even start as a rookie.
