What the giants are doing with the TE situation is malpractice. Bellinger has completely regressed apparently, and we are walking a rookie out there who apparently barely knows how to play. They have a combined FIVE catches so far this season. Every other team in the league works their TE every single game. It's the biggest cheat code in the league. Yet somehow we are immune to it.

They have to get it figured out..see who is available off the street because this is ridiculous at this point. You are not going to win games when your TE's are making 1.25 catches per game.

I blame Daboll. They threw it once to Rhei he caught it. Last week once to Bellinger and he caught it. If u don't throw to them it's on the staff and QB

Look at what Ertz has done for Washington

Look at what Brock Bowers is doing for the Raiders.  We have $hitty position coaches and coordinators working together to develop players.

Or Jones locks onto the receivers or his first read, and simply doesn't look their way much

I think this is a big part of it

Maybe but I think more often than not. A quarterback has a play to run that has progressions and or a receiver the play is designed for.....with Nabors and Robinson they have been open etc ....but I am referring to specific play calling or adjustments during the game that make the TE end the first option via match up etc.

Ironic, since Daboll was a TE coach for several years and coached Gronk, arguably the TE GOAT, through some of his best years.

And if the TE is down on the read list and Daniels never gets that far in his progressions, maybe design some plays where the TE is an earlier, or even first, read?
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.
