Daboll didn't have any injury updates during his Monday call, but the Giants will need to release a projected injury report this afternoon with the Thursday game.

Cornerback will be a focus. Dru Phillips and Adoree' Jackson left yesterday with calf injuries. Those don't tend to be short-term injuries. Nick McCloud hasn't practiced the past two weeks due to a knee injury.

Also, will be on the lookout for LT Andrew Thomas, who finished the game after his ankle got rolled up late. LB Micah McFadden (back) and WR Darius Slayton (thumb) left but returned during the game.

If they did, it's because their current TE room isn't very good.

PFF grades

Theo Johnson-  42.7
Chris Manhertz- 54.8
Daniel Belinger- 65.1

I will argue this. I've watched this closely and it is a fact that Daboll and Jones do not target them consistently at all. That doesn't mean they aren't very good. In fact Bellinger made a big catch and also had a questionable holding penalty called. I also think our TE are helping the oline so this is partly why our line is looking improved.

I'm still more concerned that Slayton dropped the 2 point conversion against Washington or else we probably would've won. I wanna see Hyatt get a legit shot. I put Hyatt in same category as our TE room. Before long people will say he isn't very good which is unfair as he isn't being consistently targeted. WanDale for instance gets consistent targets and as a result he is getting appropriate kudos.

gah.   Was hoping we wouldn't have to see Demarcus Lawrence.

Because Cager went on IR   and they cut Jakob < again< to make room for the new TE they signed

With Slayton Questionable, maybe Hyatt will get more opportunities.  The Cowboy's DC doesn't have much current tape on him.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.
