What is it about the Giants that the national media hates?

What is there for the national media to like?

It's not about having to like the Giants. What Shadow and myself are asking is to just be as part of the discussion as the numerous franchise that are struggling like the Panthers, Bears, Broncos and Titans. I don't have the time to watch an entire NFL show and record the times they discuss each team but plenty of losing teams are getting way more attention than the Giants. Even if we had a top rookie QB like it wouldn't change. How do I know this. Because they still ignored us in 2019!

Let's be honest, what is there about the Giants to talk about except why we continue to lose, and the media, like winners?

PLUS, who on the Giants is relevant? They talked Giants when OBJ was here, and now, if Nabors continues to have great success, he will talked about, but who else?  Even when Barkley was here, he was Mr. Fly under the radar and never looked for a spotlight, so he was mentioned, but part of the Giants, nothing special to talk about. Not that we need controversy, but we need players who create a bit of excitement, OUTSIDE of the NY area. Who, on this team does that now, except Nabors and he is still a NY thing, not a national thing as of yet.
We stink and why should the media talk Giants, if not only to laugh at us.

You're rewriting history. Jones was not a top rookie QB. He was more "you did what at pick #6???!!!" Even if he played well for dj standards it's not like some real top prospect we're talking about . He was zero star recruit walk on for r sakes

It is really that simple.

Many of us have been here for quite a long time. Over the years, when reporters DO do a story on the Giants and it is mostly negative, many here jump on them basically saying they are doing these stories just to hear themselves think. So when someone does do stories on the Giants and they are negative (what else) we accuse them of bias. Sorry, can't have it both ways.

You do not have to be a good team to be discussed on the national shows on ESPN, NFL, FOX or CBS! There is plenty of discussion on losing and struggling teams, what is wrong and why? The Bears the past 3 seasons is the primo example. Storied franchise in a huge media Market. But the Giants, also a storied franchise, in the largest, get almost nothing.

Perfect example of why national media are s not a Giants fan.  4 field goals, lots of penalties, boring type game.  Are anyone other than a Giants/Cowboys fans watching?
