Ultimately, while I don't believe Mara controls what the GM does, Mara is responsible for interviewing and hiring the right GM.  Part of the GM (and HC) hiring involves luck, in the sense that not all candidates are available when a team needs to make a hire.  So I looked at how all the men the Giants interviewed in 2022 have done since Schoen was hired by Mara and company.
