Despite my opinions on him, if this just happened somehow. I would in fact love to see it.

Would love to be able to use the draft capital elsewhere if it were possible.

I don't think there are many whose personal animosity toward Daniel Jones is so great they just want to see him fail; the fortunes of the team be damned.

Plenty of fans love a tankathon. This team is 2-4. The season is over before it started (again). The offense hasn't scored a TD at home since like 2022 or whatever. You don't think a kind of significant change is in order with the nepotism in the FO, and definitely at the QB position, and this "Giants way" nonsense? This team is getting to be unwatchable.

It's nothing pesonal against Jones. He is just not a starting NFL QB and it is getting really boring watching him.

For me

Quinn Ewers would be my 1st choice, but injuries concern me the most

Carson Beck a string 2nd

Sheudeur Sanders, not a huge fan, but would be ok with it. The Nebraska game, Sanders looked terrible

Dillion Gabriel looks good, but at 5'11" I would pass

Cam Ward and Jason Milroe looked bad every time I watched them, Milroe can run, thats about it

Gabriel Nissander is interesting, would be my 2nd round pick

I would not have thought this, seeing some of these previous posts.

It's a form of attacking a person indirectly by going after something/someone they are fond of.

If I know you like, say, skydiving, but I have an issue with you, I'd say something like, "Skydiving is such a stupid "sport"... is it really a sport? Whoever does it is just dumb." I'm attacking you by going after something you like. Passive-aggressiveness in a different form.

Just a reminder - it's your opinion he's not a good starting QB in the league. The reality is that he is a starting QB. One thing we can count on is you presenting opinions as facts.

If Giants decide move on from DJ.    .....I think a good option is to acquire a proven veteran....just a solid guy at middle end of career......a smart QB that knows how to play the QB position in today s NFL.
ala. Flaco last year.
Let him play for a year or two and actually find out what there is for talent around the QB on this team....then ,if no QB suits them in 2025 draft....wait a year and pick what they feel may be the next Franchise guy the next year if there is one.

Lock, who knows but unless DJ gets injured again or he really bombs beyond belief I don't think we will find out if he is better than Jones

Maybe I  am still just pissed about the whole Elie getting benched in week 2 thing. And maybe it was just growing up with Joe Montana; Dan Marino; and Phil Simms and having a distaste for RPO in the NFL. And maybe I just think Jones is both boring as a person and to watch on the field. One thing is for sure -- there is really nothing except blind optimism in year 6 of a QB to go on any more.

I have seen Mets fans straight up say they hate Vogelbach. I do not think I have said that.

The other part is I suspect that Mara just wants this guy because he is a QB from central casting and, that is more important than winning games. That is really abhorrent in my view. What else is could be more important for this team and its success-than such a notion blowing up in his face?

Dabol was brought here to be a QB whisperer. However there is an unrepairable disconnect between Dabol's mouth, and Jones' ear. The fault lies with the latter. Lets see what Dabol can do with a QB of his choice.

Is anyone still in the boat that Jones is a good starting Qb and they would retain him for next year?

If yes please explain why... Genuinely curious.

As I've said elsewhere, I'm not going to come to a conclusion until we reach the end of the season.  But I will say that I started the season thinking there was about a 40% chance he'd be back, and now I'm down to 10-15%.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

Thank, Just trying to see from a different perspective.

Jones rose to 12 in QBR and his coach said he was "locked in ". When Thomas went down the result was 7 sacks, 10 hits and 10 hurries. Daboll said "it wasn't Jones' fault" and he's right. No QB can play well with that type of protection.

I'm all for drafting a QB, but let him beat out DJ in camp before he's blindly handed the starting job.

Wasn't Jacoby Brisset like 12 th or something like that in qbr earlier the season before benching?
