As you all witnessed last year in Week #2, there are FAR more Giants' fans here in the metro Phoenix area than Cardinals' fans so what the heck?

Within about a five-year window around the last Super Bowl (i.e. 2010-15), I had lived in Tucson, AZ, San Antonio, TX and Rio Rancho, NM and, in all three locations, I received the Giants' broadcasts on the local channels nearly 50% of the time (NOTE: I've been an NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber since 2002). Personally, I'm getting tired of shelling four bills to watch the games and hope that someday soon I can just buy a team subscription and go from there.

But Pittsburgh and Atlanta in the Valley of the Sun? Nah, I'll pass. Sunday Ticket, unfortunately.

Peace!

Nice, I get to watch it down here in FL.

Clearly the Giants need to start winning games and show some life on offense to get a broader national TV exposure. Neutral fans in cities without a home game find us boring and I can't blame them. Hopefully Nabors has a OBJ like rookie season and that map will broaden.

Looks like Tampa is getting blacked out for not selling out their home game this weekend. I thought the NFL stopped blackouts?

You know it's a big game when the announcers are Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta (Jets, Cards)
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

Well this Sunday morning's game is on the NFL network which I don't subscribe to with my cable package. So I guess I won't be watching the game. How stupid.

If you do not have NFL Network, or subscribe to NFL Network+, you won't be able to watch the game.

Peace!

Wow, I thought local markets always had the games on broadcast tv.  Crazy

That has to be a recent change from an hour ago. I just checked now and Channel 7 listed the date/time of the Giants game to "to be announced". That was not there before. I guess the NFL is working out a deal. Go to NYG schedule on Googly eyes and it still list the NFL network and the other internet subscription networks only. No local channels. Which is BS.

I am not an authority but I believe all teams games have to be shown on one local tv network no matter where the game is played. Like every Giants game has to be shown on a local channel in the NY metro area.
The game will be shown on one channel positively.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

The game will be broadcast in both NYC and Charlotte NC. This a always the case for the 2 home cities. It's the same when Amazon or the NFL network has the broadcast rights. If you look at the 506 broadcast map it will always list the 2 local stations you can watch.

I really don't get that one.  Both teams are expected to be decent, but its not like a rematch of a playoff game from last year or even two teams expected to go deep in the playoffs this year.  Do the Steelers draw a national audience?

Its always Saints or Falcons for Alabama, with some Titans thrown in. If you haven't seen the Falcons play this year and you want to see what REAL Offensive weapons look like, tune in. They have climbed into the top 10 in total offense and are getting better with an O-line that is only getting healthier.

Yes, the Giants/Panthers showed up now on Channel 7 at 9:30. But it wasn't the case when I 1st checked. Maybe they didn't change the guide until yesterday.
