So this is our bye week and I got to thinking about all the 'what if s' thru my 70+ years of being a fan.

Something like what if Devito doesn't win those games last year, would we have Daniels as our QB today

So let's play this game for as far back as I can remember

What if Jim Lee Howell retires a year earlier and we get either Tom Landry or Vince Lombardi as our next HC
What if the ref marks the ball correctly (according to Frank Gifford) in the 1956 Championship game and the Colts don't get the ball back
What if Del Shofner catches that easy TD pass from Tittle in the 1963 Championship game
What if we drafted Gale Sayers instead of Tucker Fredrickson in 1965
Let's jump ahead a bit
What if the NFL and Pete Rozelle doesn't step in to help the Giants with George Young
What if the Saints draft LT at #1
What if Bill Parcels is fired after his first horrible season as GY wanted
What if Bill Belicheck becomes the Giants HC instead of he who shall remain nameless
What if we don't draft Rivers and opt for Big Ben instead of the trade for Eli
What if Eli is called for 'in the grasp' as many thought he should, in SB 42.

I could go on and on as the Giants have just so many 'what ifs' that could  have changed our destiny.
