Are you suggesting this is Daboll? If so, doesn't benching Jones when he was ineffective count as accountability? What about sitting Banks earlier? Those are verifiable because we witnessed them.

How do we know he isn't holding players accountable away from the cameras and reporters?

To answer your questions

1) If Daboll had effectively held the players accountable, we wouldn't have witnessed all the killer mistakes, and we wouldn't have had Carl Banks talk about all the little details the players were missing week after week. 

2) Unless you believe all the players and coaches have been lying all these years about DJ's incredible work ethic, DJ's benching doesn't really relate to the sort of issue I am discussing.  DJ's issues were based on shortcomings, not from a lack of effort or preparation.

3) It is fair to point out that there has been some benching of Banks.  Frankly, having to bench a first-round draft pick for lack of effort is a bad look for both the head coach and the GM.  From what I have seen over the decades, that's usually an indication of a player-friendly coach letting things get too out of hand and then having to employ drastic measures to fix the problem.

4) I think most people would agree that Daboll is on the player-friendly side of the player-friendly/discipline-oriented coaching spectrum.  So yes, I do attribute the game-losing mistakes we are seeing throughout the roster to the man in charge of said roster.

Appreciate the comments and I agree with all of them. I remain puzzled as to why everyone (other than Rich) still wants to talk about the mistakes made by Jones even after he was benched for performance and financial reasons, and not those mistakes made by others, Tracy Jr. being the most recent.

The Jones experiment is over. This is now a faceless franchise. Time to hold the other guys accountable, or watch this team continue to flounder.

I think it might be a bit to due with the topic of this post seemed to be blaming a rookie who seems to be doing quite well other than that game in defense of a 6 year vet who is not doing well at all. 

If you want to chat about problems on this team that are not Daniel Jones, I'm up for it.  Hell, I'd welcome it.  I'm about all Daniel Jones'd out at this point.
