Don't be ridiculous.  I have always expressed appreciation for the good things you bring to the board. But did we really need YET ANOTHER screed about facts, opinion, and beliefs as if we were children?  Because we are too stupid to see where you are coming from without you 'schooling' us?  And it's not the first time.  Like I said, it is tedious.  And apparently, others agree with me. 

I hope you know that you're considering a valuable and well respected member of this community.

"My goal was to share information, not to come across as dismissive or superior. I apologize if it sounded that way."  I will confess that when I created a forum for the most intelligent and well-informed fans, I felt I could speak at a high, and people wouldn't get upset.

FWIW, this is not a fact, it is a combination of definition and common acceptance.

At the risk of sounding condescending and boring people, technically, every fact requires a definition.  Factually, one could say it is 72 degrees Fahrenheit outside.  Yet that requires the definition of temperature and the units of measure.  Since we convey facts usually via a shared language, definitions are required.

Again, I am not talking down to you.  I am also not dumbing down what I am saying.  I am talking about a topic that I find very interesting and I am sharing my thoughts on that topic.
