Trend is on schedule to be in the top half of the league by 2027.

FWIW, Bricillo has them as good as they have been. With a little more work he can get them into the upper half.

I'm not positive, but I thought Tiki said that the Bucs blitzed on about 80% of the plays. It sure seemed as if they were bringing the house on just about every play. Why not if it works?
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

They blitzed at a high rate in the first half.  I am not sure they blitzed as much in the second half.

To be fair when Eluemunor and Thomas were healthy they were doing much better.

Ed Vette

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

That must have cooled off in the second half. I remember the HT show saying that number was in the 70s during the first half.

They were up 23-0, they decided they could play it safe an ease up on the blitzing (being high risk/high reward plays)

Yes. They clearly eased off in the second half.

But they are going to need upgrades just about everywhere to include "salvage title" Thomas who is now damaged goods.

The Giants need to seriously look at Left Tackle options in the draft and I still wouldn't have an issue going after the kid from Texas. It's long past time to fix and reinforce the Offensive Line because losing Thomas cannot produce a chain reaction of dominoes falling as it has this season.

Whether it is Bricillo, or someone else, they need players and durable ones at that.

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

When the team blitzes like that, it is because they think the QB will not have the ability to read it pre-snap, adjust the protection, or hit the hot route.
