That's how it seemed to me.  I would have to think players are trained to look down around those piles to spot the stray fumble

Another example of poor coaching.

Also, I've been all over the fact that throughout Daboll tenure we continue to see punt/kick returners run/drift TOWARDS a ball which has hit the turf!...the question is WHY?
